ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Founder and creative director Surbhi Mehta caught the creative and fashion bug at a young age. Surbhi took up small projects to explore her passion for fashion. Armed with this invaluable experience she realized that, there was too much clutter in the female designing space and it was not her calling. Men, on the other hand, were conditioned in such a way that, putting an effort into how they looked and how one dressed up was restricted to leisure activity. Her idea was to sell a lifestyle and not just a product.
Surbhi Mehta , a designer that didn’t let her lack of fashion training, ability to sew, or the fact she never underwent official studies in fashion deter her to infuse local and artisanal craftsmanship and India's textile heritage with her designs. Her experience as a fashion stylist in London gave her exposure to a wide array of work.
Surbhi Mehta is changing gears now purely to design to satisfy her creative demons and build something from the scratch.
